John le Carre on CBS Sunday Morning

I have rediscovered this wonderful programme far too late, CBS Sunday Morning.

 On it today,

  a piece on John le Carre, his last interview. He said he is done with the 'self -publicity bit' and he (just) 'wants to write' now. Good for him I think.  Some great shots of the southwest coast near his home.

There was a bit on a

 Herb Ritts exhibition.

 I love his work.

A bit on Elizabeth Taylor, at 12 in National Velvet, wow... 12.

And I learned this cut was the one that ' made' Vidal Sassoon.
