Screened porch

  

When we were house hunting here in Iowa,  I came across this lovely house...bit too $ for our budget at the time, but I did like this porch. Things have a way of working out. We found our house here in the woods and I heard that a couple who had grown up in that neighborhood came back from Chicago and bought the house on the same street they used to ride their bikes on as kids. So there you go.

Need to get back to sleep.
The house at Conker Road has a conservatory....a first for us, that'll be fun.
Excited to see Cornwall in the spring.
Also..I love red.

As an accent colour, like this  Iowa screened porch, in paintings like the Hopper,  or like Cath Kidston uses it in her prints.
