Pandora Inn

In tribute to the beautiful Pandora Inn on Restronguet Creek. Roger and I lived footsteps away in Delta Cottage for a winter after Falmouth and before Lisvean. Many happy times in the Pandora . And a friend had a Dutch barge moored a few steps the other way.

There was a fire today that ravaged the place. Every one got out okay, thankfully . The brewery is rumoured to want to restore the building. Hope so.

And there was once a delightful small, wet garden behind it, called Lanterns, maybe. You put like 35 p in a charity box to walk round.

Walking on the creek is a wonder. There is  a really cool place called Greatwood. I never even knew it existed and the most charming terrace of small cottages.

My favorite is the small, wooden bar on the left as you come in and the fish pie.

Pandora Inn.
